I have strangely found myself glued to The Open. Not a fan of golf, never played it but it has become essential viewing for me.

I think it’s scenery and the calming voices of the presenters.

I said very similar to Mr F. I like watching it but have no real interest in it. Rooting for Tommy Fleetwood because he's an Evertonian but would like Rory to win after the way he called out the Saudi money grabbers.

McIlroy danced around his nationality for years which was a bit weird but I really hope he does it.

Morning all on this overcast day here in Finland ,I hope all arise fresh and happy this morning and have a fine day . Shame about the game but an improvement I suppose and very early days yet .

Update on my ears .I was told to put some Remowax drops in and they said I could drop 20 in as I have had no hearing in the left ear anyway I had so much pain yesterday and whooshing in my ear I feel so sorry for anyone with tinitis it must be terrible .So no drops today until it feels empty again .

Morning all, not too hot at the moment still a cool breeze blowing so quite pleasant just now. People a few doors down were sitting in the garden til gone two, telling the most hilarious jokes in the history of jokes by the sound of it. Had to shut the window, then too stuffy and hot, gave up and read a book. Mr G. snoring like a stuffed pig. Conversation this morning “I don’t know why I bothered to go to bed last night” - his reply “Tell me about it, I hardly slept at all”. Have a good day all.?
