Oh bugger off

I'll rephrase

Yeah either right winger or replacing Timmy Cahill when we're winning comfortably I think

The main problem for James Vaughan is the level of competition has got alot higher, he is now competing with two of the better strikers in this League in Yakubu and Louis Saha. Maybe even Jo if we sign him.

Even if he gets himself fit he's still going to struggle to get a game. The fact that we play one upfront goes against him aswell.

He'll still be very useful though, his pace, enthusiasm and sheer energy from the bench especially can change any game. I just hope he can stay fit, his attitude has always been spot on.

As for Baxter, I think he'll be introduced as a wide player next season.

Maybe mate, i still thinks he offers us something different from Saha and Yak, as you say his energy and willingness to run channels etc. What he is good at is wearing down or occupying defenders but he also has that pace, is a presence in the box and an abilty to finish, he does tick a lot of boxes.

Yaks ability and strength to hold up the ball and techniuqe mean he has the quality to be less mobile, by that i mean he like to play centrally. Saha likes to play in front of, on the shoulder or behind the back four centrally to, hes dead eye but he wont tenderise a defence like Vic or Vaughan. All different qualites and Vaughan offers sometihing different yet acletic.

Your right it could be hard for him to get a regular starting berth, that said as things stand we have the same compliment of strikers we did at the start of last season and the way the season went you woould have to say a fit James Vaughan wold have gotten his game.

I don't see why it's so imminent that Rodwell will go to Man United when he has already turned down Chelsea. He'll easily be one of the best players in the world one day. Awesome.

Vaughany's still got massive potential for me. He's an actual striker rather than a forward, there aren't many about these days. I can imagine him going on a massive scoring run if he got in form for some reason.

I think Vaughany's about a year or 2 behind on his development, and his injuries are crippling IMO. He and Vic need loans out with extended play before they get praised or written off.

I honestly felt Anichebe came on leaps and bounds last year. When he played well, especially on the right cutting inside against the RS and Villa last year, he looked good. But I think when he was benched and things dont go his way he sulked and it didnt do him any favours.

Between him and Distin today.

Distin just edged it, but Rodwell was disciplined and didn't lose the ball stupidly today like he has done in the past.

Fellaini too looked very good. More so when he was moved deeper. I'm sick of him playing up top ffs.

Anyway, yeah, Rodwell was given an impossible task today but did excellently. Well in Jack.
