Rodwell

We all agree that we must keep him, but we can't put too much responsibility on him.

We will hopefully play 60-ish games next season and we need depth. We need to replace the players we have let go with others of a better standard and add more in numbers.

To do that we need cash, and if the mancs came in with £25M for Rodders, who knows what BK would do?

If BK sold him for anything less than the world record transfer fee, I'd personally see to it he had his willy never seen his scrotum again.

That comment, makes me almost, ALMOST wish that we sell him.. just to be able to read the news in the papers the days after you attacked him.

The hype begins, god help the poor lad the national press have a hold of him:

You won't spook Rodwell: Everton protege takes it all in his stride | Mail Online

Ten things you need to know about Everton and England Under-21 star, Jack Rodwell | Mail Online

Build them up to knock them down, mega stardom overnight, hes got a WAG and all now, keep it real Jack lad.

Looks like he's been dating her before all this and apparently they've broken up because he wants focus on his football career.
He's got his head on his shoulders Rodwell, I don't think any youngster is better equipped to handle all this media bullshit better than him. Listening to his interviews you'd think he's a 35 year old national team captain.

My opinion, he's United bound. :(
Probably, but not anytime soon.

Has a bright future whether it's at Everton, United, or any top team. Hopefully, it will be at Everton inwhich he will play his best years and bring back some glory days. Seems a down to earth lad so I won't worry to much about the media hyping him up, they are only saying what many blues have been saying since he broke on the scene for the reserves.

couldn't put it better myself, tbh i don't think he's shown all that much remarkable talent, but both on and off the pitch he exudes composure and maturity like nothing i've ever seen before, and i think thats what makes him a tremendous asset to the team. i just hope he stays this way, even with agents whispering in his ear

Perhaps, but I don't think he's going this summer. I hope for his sake he doesn't.

Here he will be given more opportunity to play games in the PL and there is no guarantee that he will manage if moving to a bigger club, just because he fares well now... look at Jeffers for example, his career crumbled when he left to join Arsenal.

For Rodwells sake I hope he stays and develops here for at least a couple more seasons before he considers moving to one of the best clubs in the world. He's young and there is no rush to do this kind of move.
