faddy the blue

Player Valuation: £35m
There is no reason on this planet why Baines didn't get that LB spot on the PFA team of the year!

Bull****! Absolute bull****! He didn't even get a nomination in the PFA for all his hard work! Seriously? Then you have Vincent Kompany at CB!! FML!(n)

totally agree. its an effing disgrace how cashley got in before bainsy. dont like him even more now. gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Kompany has been very solid, I'd probably put him in my team

Baines however, that's a bad call. Chelsea and Cole haven't been great this year, its not like he's even been given the nod because they've won the league!

Ahh well

Its total BS. I know money is the prime reason but there are other reasons why good players almost always move to "big" clubs. By playing on a big money team you are automatically assumed to be a great player. It also gets you national team call ups no matter how poor you are. SWP didn't get a sniff at England when he played at City you know when he was actually good. Put him on Chelsea's reserves though and viola there is your starting RW (hell he got in at LW in the WC a position he never played). Lescott got what a tryout in one-two friendies playing for us, however playing for city he gets call up after call up riding on the pine. If Jags went to Arsenal had a lousy season and couldn't get off the bench he'd automatically be plugged in as the No. 3 CB on England without a debate.

Barton has arguably been England's best midfielder meanwhile Gerrard and Lampard look like old men. He'll never a chance to unseat either of them. Scott Parker would be the prem's POY if he played for a different club.

You can't be no geek off the streets, Gotta be handy with the steel, if you know what I mean, earn your keep.

Simple answer to this...because Cole plays for Chelsea, one of the 'bigger' clubs.

It is BS though, no way would I swap that tw@t for Baines!
