How did Ca$hley Cole get in the PFA team of the year ahead of Leighton Baines?

its a disgrace of a situation to be picking the team of the season when the season still has 6 games or so to play....this is the most important time of the season and the team is picked before it

i might be insane or something, but i thought cole's had one of his worst seasons. every time i've seen him play, he does well to get into good attacking positions, then completely breaks down the attack because his right leg might as well be a peg. he constantly fires into the side netting or tries to pass in shooting situations because of his inability to use his weaker foot. for me i think he's past it, he doesn't have the pace he used to have, and his final ball is nothing like what it was before.

to invite the comparison between him and baines is an insult to football. if cole's deemed worthy of the team, baines should be captain. at times he's single handedly kept our club afloat this season, while cole has contributed very little.

the most shocking part is that other pros voted on this. i did a quick count, and baines has had at least one goal or one assist against 13 different premier league clubs, which means baines either scored a goal or had an assist against the clubs of most of the players that didn't vote for him... well i guess they aren't paid for their intellect...
