He stands up then he really is obstructing the GK. Instead he stays down and gets out of the way.

The theory was that VAR would protect teams from referees giving decisions on the field for the likes of Man Utd.

In truth, alls it does is allow video referees to find any excuse to ensure the status quo is not broken up.

Siggy is in no way impeding De Gea so it’s an absolute disgrace.

Sigi had loads of time to get up and contribute to our attack instead of sitting on the ground though.

Exactly. He just sits there like a pleb, last minutes of the game he should be up trying to get involved in the attack again. He needs to be nowhere near our starting 11. Utterly garbo all game. Beside a trademark freekick of course that he still missed.
