Computer games.

Agreed, nice write-up Mikey. I have this at home, and PSVR, and it does look especially awesome on that. Have only played a little bit tho, really need to dedicate some time to it at some point!!

Update on the PSVR - Finally picked one up the other day. Finance was ok as it was my birthday and I got weighed in for a few quid.

In a word:

BOSS

It's like having an OTT 80's-90's arcade cabinet in your living room with all the flashy visuals and booming sound effects.

Ace Combat is thrilling, the sensation of speed and inertia is incredible.

Same with Wipeout Omega Collection, the experience is just beautiful. Great soundtrack and crisp futuristic neon.

Gran Tourismo Sport looks and plays just great, the only disappointment is that you are limited to a one-on-one race against the PS4 or a time trial - hopefully with the constant updates Polyphonic Digital add to the game, this will be upgraded to full races….

Will pick up Doom VR version and Resident Evil VR.

It's a brave new world y'all...check it out

Crackdown 3 has been five years in development, watching those latest previews it looks very dated. I bought and played through the first two when they came out on 360, this doesn’t look that much better to me.

I used to love Xbox but I’ve been so disappointed in Xbox this generation.

Is this the sequel to Crackdown 2?

I bought FM 19 and I just can't get into it. I think my nearly 30 year association with football management games has run it's course. I can no longer justify paying every year for an interface change and added press releases.

Soccer Boss, Football Manager 1 + 2, Championship manager and the new Football Manager RIP its been fun, it's not anymore.

Over the last couple of nights I've been having a go at Resident Evil 2. Have just escaped the car park, and have loved every minute - the bit that's taken the longest so far was tracking down that 3rd medallion! What a way to re-do a game, i.e. build it up from scratch. Obviously not the most economic way, as quick remasters will usually be how games are re-done, but this looks, sounds and plays brilliantly. If you've been considering buying it, just get it now!

Tempted to agree with you but also still find it enjoyable on the couch hungover whilst watching Super Sunday. Not sure where they can go from here though.

Just playing Resident Evil 2 remake on PC. I somehow never played the original as it came out when I was a 17 and at that age I had just ditched the consoles in favour of beer and drugs.

What a game it is.

Same (but on PS4), I know it's common for seasoned gamers to say games aren't the same anymore, but this really proves it. It's obviously weird to say if feels like it has orginality, but it kinda does feel that way compared to anything else around today.

You can't carry 600 items, you really need to think about things, fight or flight is a thing because ammo is scarce, proper game.

THE original Zombie game ...also kudos for an actual remake rather than a remaster.

I HIGHLY recommend Beat Saber. I've spent a lot of hours on that game and its actually a good workout. Really good for when friends and family are around, too. My PSVR got a lot of use at Christmas because of Beat Saber.
