The only positive is that we have played nearly all the teams in the top half away. That being said, we are clearly unable to win games at home.
Maybe a striker can be brought in during January. But the question is who and how much?

A good point, but in fairness Martinez absolutely bossed his first season implementing a whole new style and belief to our team

Tbf Martinez walked into a side that already had a solid defensive base and was extremely strong at home, plus we were able to get Lukaku on loan as well. Silva and Brands walked into a sh*tshow.

Yeah Lukaku was boss to be fair he probably attributed to that season immensely. Wonder how Martinez first season goes in an alternate reality where we signed Demba Ba instead lol. (We were heavily linked with him right?)

In fact thinking about it, it would have meant Ba wouldn't have been there to score from Slippy G... The fume

Pellegrini starting to prove alot of arrogant Evertonians wrong. Was a terrific appointment by them and sadly WHU are building a good side.

Arnautovic, Anderson Lanzini, Yarmolenko all would be good options up top for us.

They then have hernandez, antonio, carroll, perez, Snodgrass all as options off the bench.

We have Tosun and Niasse...

Beaten by West Ham at home, unimpressive draws with Newcastle, Huddersfield and Watford at home. If we plan on forfeiting the games against the better sides then we really need to be taking more than 3 points from those 4 fixtures.

Not a great manager for me and only marginally more enthusiastic about his appointment than Koemans.

He's made a few mistakes. But I think its partly driven by our lack of squad depth. We have only one genuine DM of quality, a lack of a right back to rotate with Coleman and no striker that's up to standard. In that respect he tried three at the back today and it didn't work but without Gana who should he have played there? Davies? That shows you the drop off in the squad, our best team is a good team but lacks cutting edge. I can see the style we want to play at least and this year is a transitional season. I will start genuinely judging next season.

He's getting team selections wrong .......

Tbf Joey I thought this too but I didn't know Gueye was injured.

Think he tried to compensate for it with 5 at the back. Perhaps Davies should have started in the middle but at the same time can you imagine the sheer fume on here if Davies had started over Sigurdsson and we still lost.

Just give it a bit more time Bungz, we know all too well how turbo garbage we were last year. Whoever took the job was in for a rough ride.

Davies replaces Gana.......

Time is nearly up as far as I'm concerned mate, Bournemouth and Wolves both bouncing around as well who we couldn't beat, 5 points from a possible 18 in very winnable games. Disappointing.
