Most of the chances today came when City were two up and content to sit back. I wouldn't pay much notice to that.

Can we create chances against Spurs at home next week when we're really in the game? That's a key indicator.

We created more at Arsenal, should have had a couple at Man U and should have had at least one against Liverpool.

We will create chances against Spurs as they will attack too but we need to take them.

Im still happy with Silva for now as I can see the improvement

Marco Silva’s win percentage at Hull, Watford and Everton is shocking. At the moment it is too early to say, but I remain far from convinced he is going to be the manager to lead EFC over the long term.

Certainty shades of a charlatan...

You see I am convinced he and Brands are the fellahs to take us forward.........with time. It is all about opinions. I liked Gordon Lee and I even liked Howard Kendall when he first took over when people were set against them. If next season we are playing crap and don't see the obvious signs of being a better team then I will start doubting but regardless of results we are still looking not far off a decent team and they have only had 1 transfer market. They need more time to get players they want and to get the best of what we have.

We’re doing alright.

I wanna see some of the messages preseason, and you’ll find a lot are going to be similar to what we’re seeing now.

We play a style which WILL tire the side down, we played the same team 6 games on the trot.

We have much better players, but we’re still missing that goal scorer, we’re missing a right back, a consistent Number 10 (who’s have thought after last seasons pile of them), and probably a slight upgrade on Gueye.

This time last year, we had Allardyce, we had hoofball, we had ultra defensive approach and we’d never been lower.

The fans know we’re going in the right direction, and players actually want to play for Marco... Bernard, Richarlison etc... so give him time, support and over time let’s hope he repays our trust!

I agree that he deserves time. Having said that, Silva has never been the type of guy to give a club time if he sees an opportunity elsewhere. Basically he deserves loyalty just because the club invested so much to get him, rather than due to any past history of honorable behavior on his part.

People on this forum treat our team as though we are Arsenal or Spurs. Lofty ambitions but completely unrealistic.

We will go on bad runs of form that the top teams don't because we aren't as good as them. It's simple stuff.
So we’ve got no right to be upset with the current run of form because we aren’t Arsenal or Spurs (who also aren’t the best teams in the league).

What’s the point in this club then? Let’s just close up shop, we’re done.

He has never been at a Premier League club for longer than a season, His win % at Hull doesn't count either cos they where down before he came. Its obvious improvements have been made over last season and he has only had 1 transfer window to try and fix the mess Koeman and Allardyce made. Can't really see the evidence of him being a 'charlatan' if im honest.

They were not down - in fact he had them safe until he went into meltdown at the end of the season. Indeed they crumbled at home to Moyes Sunderland in a game that would have seen them safe. And that Sunderland team is one of the worst in recent memory

They where rock bottom when he came, no one gave them even the slightest chance of staying up.

A disgrace haha. It's frustrating but totally understandable that a new manager will drop points against teams we should be beating. Sadly, it will probably continue happening for a while to come.

Well I disagree, I get the odd slip up but 4 poor home results against average sides isn't acceptable in my view.

People would have slated Koeman and Alladyce for it so lets not be hypocrites eh.
