Personally I think it'll happen, but more for Bramley Moore rather than Everton. Build a world class stadium on the docks, retail, luxury apartments etc - there's guaranteed at least 60k footfall every fortnight

The only other thing is, if usmanov went and bought a club like, Newcastle or west ham and turns them into a top 6 team .. the stocks of everton would decrease? Which isn't a good investment for his accountant / best friend / business partner

Makes sense - it'll be a test of just how strong their relationship really is. Hopefully, the bond is titanium tough.

If Usmanov stays in the UK, it’s got to be Everton that he invests in. Look at the Evidence;

EFC is a sleeping giant and an ideal investment opportunity.
His best mate and former Arsenal partner is already the major shareholder.
He already sponsors the club - USM Finchfarm.
A brand new super stadium on the horizon.

This could have been the plan all along when Moshiri made the move to Everton.

I would be astounded if Usmanov invested in any other EPL team.

Yes I think so, but to be fair it's not any other buyer - it's Kroenke himself.

The thinking was he wouldn't be able to because he would have to sell them to Kroenke and Kroenke wouldn't buy them because he already had control so it was 500 million for nothing. But Kroenke did buy them
