Problem is midfield. You are buying 3 central mids and want them to play all together. Koeman should know better. Im sure its the last time we will see an idiocy like that. An alcoholic like Rooney should play in the reserves. Klaasen isnt up to it . Does mean Sigy has to play. With some wingers, like Mirallas Lukic and Lookman. Holgate Jagielka Keane and Baines at the back. Ramirez another one for the under 23. DCL our new Lukaku. Give Niasse a place on the bench. Not a great footballer but at least he has some speed and power.

interesting point about Davies...he was the one player people around me where shouting to be brought on

If he finishes in the bottom half he will face many angry fans calling for a sack. From the board's perspective, any new replacement won't do any better than top 7 and whoever comes in will look to ship off some of these big money signings.

Think the board needs to have a word with him. Transition phase does not mean we accept such gutless performances. A good astute board should also keep their eyes on possible replacements without showing public discontent with Koeman.

I agree you can't play Sigurdsson, Rooney and Klaassen in the same team. Rooney yeah I think he is done too, even before he came back. Koeman better play proper wingers on the wing not Rooney and Sigurdsson.
 
A Walter smith performance with players having no idea what their role was - a 5ft centre forward against 2 of the strongest CB in the league. DCL hardly seen since his MOM against city. Appalling management and players will quickly lose confidence.

Goals yes - we don't even create chances now. Despite what many think of Barkley he is a different level to what we have now.

Definitely should be doing better and if we aren't looking like we'll pull up any trees going forward we should be at least defensively solid. The whole point playing 2 DM's is so we don't look like we are at sixes and sevens at the back. Much to work on.

So 19yr old Davies is the only poor player this season haha jeebus, go for a lie down pal.
