I disagree, I think he gets to situations after they've happened time and again. I suspect his good games against City were more to do with them being his old club and him being well up for it, over any kind of ability as when we played the rs or any other side who uses that kind of player he's been found out.
His legs went years ago, and given he was never very mobile anyway, he's just surviving in games and dropping deep to make up another centre back instead of actually covering the ground his position should warrant. We look a far better side when we have players who can move in midfield. I personally think he should do a Phil Neville and hold his hands up and go.
