After Everton, do you follow a second team? If so, who? Why them?

After the blues, its Celtic due to a family connection. going back many years, two of the family played for celtic and scotland. the football ability obviously skipped my generation:huh:

there are no other football teams,

there is only one,

when footy comes into my dreams,

it's only Everton,

i never watch the redshoite, united or the rest,

i get my kicks from Everton,

the team that are the best.

a real big NOPE......

EVERTON only me lids........ worked in other parts of england for a while but swindon an southend arent really worth lookin out for now.. although i used to go the homes games with the local lads .. roots hall an the county ground are superb stadia..:P the pint an cheese on manchester rd is one for a good scoop if we ever get swindon in a cup game.. an southend try foresters.. stay off the sea front.. those essex boys think there brave after 3 halfs.. must be all that sea air....

There's isn't any team i look for in england apart from everton but in the champions league i like supporting AC Milan to go further always. It's mainly cos of Paolo Maldini who's my idol. They beat the [Poor language removed] out of Man utd and The [Poor language removed] aswell many times and not to forget this season they beat madrid away.

I dont "support" anyone else but the Toffeemen...

I generally follow footy and take an interest in most teams in the premiership, and I do have a Man United supporting mate he happens to be very clued up about the game so we talk about it alot.

But I hang around with a lot of mates who support Doncaster Rovers and Sheff Wednesday so I take a keen interest in what they get up to...even play 5 a side at Donny Rovers stadium every now and then.

Red Star Belgrade ( Crvena Zvedza ) after they knocked Liverpool out of the European cup in the 70's . Me and my mates sneaked past the stewards when they opened the gates up with about 10 minutes left . Also their team that won the European Cup ( dire game ) in 91 contained some unbelievable players Prosinecki , Jugovic , Darko Pancev ( Golden Boot winner ) Savicevic , Mihailovic . Not to mention the players they produced later on . Fallen on hard times now as Serbia is a pariah state and the money is elsewhere but if you watch the video of them beating Liverpool on youtube you'll understand . Also when I first started to read the results in the Daily Mirror Carl Zeiss Jena stuck in my head . Now in the lower leagues in Germany . They were in Europe 3 or 4 times in the 70's and 80's and it wasn't until I got my first camera ( well my Dad pocketed it off the docks ) I realised they were the lens factory team . Proper Football Clubs unlike today and except EFC . I was captivated by loads of Eastern European clubs at the time due to the politics I think .

Athletic Bilbao. Originally coz of the HK connection. Then the first real friend I made over here was (is) a lad from Bilbao.
Not a close call at all. But it wouldn't hurt as much losing to Athletic as it does any other team in the world.
What about yourself?

JT , I'm loving the Basques , generally . Me first trip on board , to Bilbao . Been going since .
For me , no-one really , but Celtic on derby day - theirs -, and I went to watch the barcodes - away - in the mid 80's , whilst living there .

Look out for the results for Grimsby, Lincoln City and Norwich, but not really arsed whether they win or lose. It's all about Everton for me. If there was no Everton I wouldn't watch football.

Don't really care but I look out for the results of Milan since the early 90's dream team. Mainly because I had a huge crush on Marco Simone.

Oh and Partick Thistle. Because they have a funny name.

I look out for Plymouth results, but I dont support them properly.

But it's all Everton for me.

A couple for me. My dad got me into football and he's the worlds biggest Ipswich Town fan, so i keep an eye out for them.
And i've always had a soft spot for Atletico Madrid as i see them as the Everton of Madrid!

But for both of them i don't really care if they win, lose or draw...Everton only
