Here's another thing.

Our team with Arteta, Pienaar and Chill was vastly superior to the Leicester team of today,

I doubt anyone would argue with that.

So if we had a better striker than Vardy, i.e. AJ, we should have done better.

Oh FFS......is this conversation prophetic or what.

Vardy just this minute as I write this sent off for diving

Shades of AJ
No mate, Leicester is way faster...

Too little, too late.

Watford and Palace were the two games which should have decided his future.

Out on Thursday, Big Joe in charge yesterday, Goodison would have been buzzing and we would have went on this week's road trip in decent heart regardless of the Saints result.

It is a gross dereliction of duty for the board to link his future to two games which seem unwinable in my eyes at the moment.

It is just heaping more pressure on what is effectively a dead man walking.

If this week turns out as we expect it too, the blame lies with the board IMO.

I think if he absoloutly smashed the RS out the park on Wednesday, destroyed UTD next week we'd all be a lot happier. The reality is he is likely to lose both and say how 'incredibly' well his players performed. The hope is he can beat at least one of the them and salvage some grace for his next role. As it stands his stock is 'incredibly' low.

What a naff time to be an Evertonian. Could be a long week. Just have that growing feeling if it goes as badly as we're expecting, not much is going to be done.

Just watching Leicester. They have four things we don't have 1.fitness 2. Workrate 3. They get stuck in 4. They are organised defensively. Sad thing is none of these things cost a penny and should be givens.

Meanwhile Liverpool under 21s are winning away at Bournemouth. Don't they realise they're a young team?

Can't listen to any more of bobby's blather.

Liverpool's under 18's bladdered our under 18's aswell, he really is building something here at Everton isn't he, Bobby for President.

Long winded way of saying that if he wins the cup you forgive him for turning us into a joke

Not really. Merely an opinion that winning the cup and beating the RS would be difficult, but would convince the decision makers ,thats the board and Moshiri, to stick with Martinez, IF there is any doubt about that anyway. I think he's safe until at least Christmas and the start to next season, and comings and goings in the summer are whats important.
