We have shipped 7 goals in our two home games and Martinez says the players have learnt, they have learnt F all. It's time for Martinez to go and take Howard and Kone with him.

I think they're good players, not great. Coleman can't defend, never has been able to, in fact Baines is the same especially with dealing with crosses. McCarthy hasn't been consistent, Cleverly we all ridiculed until he put blue on.

There's quality, I'm not downplaying our side, but our squad has Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert in it.

How much have those two played? Half the teams we play could play Osman. One one of them still has Gosling in it.

Its a top team mate, easily top half, European quality. Deulofeu, Barkley and Lukaku is an awesome front line, the rest of the team we field just needs to be average for us to have a better team out than most.

We will lose all our top players in the summer if he doesn't change it or the club don't do something.

Don't reckon it's as talented as people make out in all honesty. We have world class, genuine world class, in Stones, Lukaku, Del, Baines. Some of the others I think we overrate as Evertonians a bit, especially McCarthy and Coleman, and Barry is no spring chicken anymore. Cleverly and Kone are some of our starting players. Is it really that good as we make out? Not sure.

I've been thinking about this a lot recently. What if every player in our talented young spine turns out to be a Kevin Mirallas? That is, a very talented player that shows up on a coin flip.

I have the theory that the top, top players, Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, those types, aren't really that much better than the very good players a tier or two below them. The difference is mostly down to consistency.

The example of this I like to trot out is Ronaldo vs the US (of course) in Brazil. He was battered around the pitch by a bunch of bang average US defenders with two fullbacks that were wingers played out of position, but still managed to gut it out and thread a perfect cross for the equalizer in stoppage time. On that day he played poorly but still had a big impact, and that's what separates him from, say, our Del boy.

We're on the cusp of a very good side here. The GK frigs off and we get a decent replacement we are sorted. However, you dont want that, you just want the manager's blood.

They're both very young. In an ideal world, they would be playing in front of a great keeper who could organsie them or alongside an expierenced old head.

They're not. They're playing alongside each other and in front of a liability.

The result is a team who doesn't look comfortable defending. If jagielka hadn't got injured, or if we'd bought in another experienced cb as cover, we'd be in a very different position.
