That's worrying. Still making excuses for Howard's basic errors, like he was in February when he arbitrarily restored him to the first team for no reason. I honestly think he's intimidated by Howard's personality in the dressing room. That's really, really worrying

he's scared of TH is the only thing i get out of it.

Best managers in the world are ruthless, Martinez seems to be scared of doing that.

We need one of the youth Keepers if
both keepers to step in till January then if they are both rubbish!

Bet his premier league clean sheet ration for Everton is amazing. I agree in principle with you though. The goalkeeping situation is a farce.

The three clean sheets he kept was down to luck and us changing our style to ultra defensive to get out of a bad patch.

Against Palace he did his slut drop routine again and Jags had to clear it off the line. Against Liverpool we were so negative it was unbelievable ( but it was the right thing to do, grind out some results ) and West Brom who offered about as much threat as Stephen Hawking without his wheelchair.

Robles within two years will be playing league two level football at a push.

Pity Tim Howard seems to be the unluckiest goal keeper lately shutting your eyes to balls crossed in his six yard box does not help!

At least @Moomin's consistent in his lack of trust in Joel.

Don't reckon he's that bad but I couldn't say he's an improvement on Howard, he needs a run of games.

At any rate a new keeper is #1 priority next summer.
 
Check out barnsley, leeds, krasnodar goals...maybe it is mental thing but definitely we cant count on this guy

anyway the whole goalie situation is ridiculous. In january martinez said that we need a new goalie. That didn't happen and in the summer he thinks both our keepers are ok...what happend ?
