Anyone going?

Friday 10th June to 12th

Each nights headliners

Fri - Rammstein

Sat - Black Sabbath

Sun - Iron Maiden

The Saturday ight act is probably the last time you will ever be able to catch them on these shores and the the Sunday night is certainly the only opportunity to catch them on their current tour.

The 3 day event will cost at least £205 PP

Not big on Rammstein but the other two would be pretty cool to see. Can't stand the crowd that go to Download though.
Never been, non of the headliners would be on my bucket list as non of the rhyme with med deppelin but still they have added something to the Rock and classic rock genre. Does the Download crowd gave a bad rep?

I'm flying out to Florida in Feb, to see Iron Maiden in Fort Lauderdale, on the first night of next year's World Tour. Got the tickets, we'll make a holiday out of it. With luncheon on the day at Rock 'n' Ribs, a resturant in Florida half-owned by Nicko McBrain, should be a hoot.

I know very little about Rammstein, but Chewbacca who ventures on here occasionally loves there. Given they have released loads of albums down the years and I've heard none of them, where is a good place to start?

I think I'm knocking on too much now to tolerate a Download crowd (and certainly could never persuade Mrs TD to go) with all the bottles of piss flying around. In 2014, went to the Main Square Festival in Arras to see Iron Maiden, and the French crowd were the other extreme, polite, well-behaved and making sure their hair still looked ok.

Anywhere, literally. First to last albums are pretty boss with the odd meh song in there. First album is kind of their worst for me, but anything else is pretty boss.

They sing 98% in German though, but make a blasting show live! Til (the frontman) is a licensed pyro-artist lol
Korn, Deftones, Megadeth, Motorhead...

[Poor language removed] YES!
Wish I was there for the last 2 alone... don't really care for Korn or Deftones.

Rammstein though, phwoar. Missed them in Bulgaria a while back because I just wasn't in Bulgaria :(

Rammstein will be worth the ticket price alone. Their pyro makes Kiss look like they're waving sparklers.

Best song - Du Hast - 30 seconds of 90's dance music intro followed by the heaviest riff ever. By which I mean EVER! Listen the live version if possible.
