Part of me wants to go again to donnington but to be honest i might be too old for it now. I know if i went with mates, allthey would do is sit and get stoned and not even be arsed, last time i went i didnt eat for 3 days hardly or drink (to save needing the toilet) and took in as many bands as i could. Just went for the music and fun of it.

Anywhere, literally. First to last albums are pretty boss with the odd meh song in there. First album is kind of their worst for me, but anything else is pretty boss.
They sing 98% in German though, but make a blasting show live! Til (the frontman) is a licensed pyro-artist lol
Wish I was there for the last 2 alone... don't really care for Korn or Deftones.
Rammstein though, phwoar. Missed them in Bulgaria a while back because I just wasn't in Bulgaria
Surprised you don't care for Deftones tbh, really good and influencial band imo
I've never really given them a proper chance to be perfectly honest, but for me they've always been a band that I know I probably should like, but never have, if that makes sense...

I agree, I used to dismiss them but now I'm not into the same type of music I realised how good they are. They stand up to the test of time, and a lot of the bands from that time really don't these days.

Not mad on metal music and I live in Ireland so won't make download but I've been to a few heavy gigs with mates and Ramnstein were easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen, some buzz and I'm sure the pyro and tunes will be class at an outdoor gig

Just a week away and I can't wait. I'm literally pissing my pants in excitement for this closely followed by the Euros. June also kicked off with a contract change so now I'm working in London instead of Glasgow. Could potentially be the best month of my life and it's properly kicking off in 7 days at Donington.
Really excited for the headliners and others such as Korn, Megadeth, Babymetal (for the lols) and Atreyu.

Too old these days for a day stood up in a muddy field dodging open placcy bottles full of wee. And to be honest I know so few of the newer bands, my love of rock is more 1980 old school.
A week later though we are off to the Stone Free Festival at the O2 Arena, London......Alice Cooper, Blackberry Smoke, The Darkness (no, really) and loads of small bands including Apocolyptica, who are four Finnish lads playing covers of Metallica on their cellos.lol
