Literally:I mean, people LOVE Rocket League
Do a FIFA version where everyone looks a bit wacky and has super moves
Kind of like how WWE used to do their simulation title with WWE 2K-- and then did a silly game like Legends of Wrestlemania
Or how NBA used to have a simulation game but there was also NBA Jam knocking around at the same time
History says: no.

Interesting to read peoples opinions on the situation with micro-transactions and pay to play etc.
The sad fact is, as much as people like 'The Jimquisition' will bemoan the "money grabbing" developers, you have to remember that, at the end of the day they are money making businesses with business models and desire to grow. (I advise looking up a documentary called 'The Corporation' on youtube to show what I mean about how corporations are designed for maximum profit)
This doesn't mean I like or agree with the current culture of locked off content/micro transactions etc. I hate them with a passion in fact.
But a large part of the problem lies with the consumer. If people were not shallow enough to put up their cash, then the developers would drop it in a second if there was no financial gain.
Take 'Fifa Ultimate Team' for example. EA make more from this mode than they do for copies of the actual game, to the point they were giving FUT away as a stand alone on steam a couple of years back (not sure if they still do)
I also saw some guy on Twitch the other day opening gold packs on FUT... Not playing the actual game, just opening gold packs for over an hour. There were over 23'000 people watching him live...
That is where the problem lies imo![]()
I like you a lot! We should say hi to each other in game.
And I agree, Freelancer was awesome, but not a patch on Frontier or even the extra buggy First Encounters.
Basically, SC is going to be Wing Commander remastered, without the name.
I was also mistaken. I somehow confused freelancer with privateer. I never played star lancer or freelancer!! Should I??I actually meant Starlancer, which was probably one of the two best space dogfighting games ever made (Freespace 2 being the other one).
Freelancer on the other hand ended up being about a third of the game that was initially promised, so perhaps SC's troubles shouldn't have come as a surprise. As you say it was not a patch on Frontier.
It's good fun and reasonably easy to get the hang of. Recommended for people who believe in eugenics.![]()
CK2 looks nice
I think he was more getting at being attacked by Roger to prevent him killing Roger, signed by Roger. It's good fun and reasonably easy to get the hang of. Recommended for people who believe in eugenics.
I've got it!!Thing is mate, if you do that and then the game ceases to be FIFA at all
If EA decided to release a more laid back and arcadey game in addition to FIFA, then that could work
There's a huge audience that buy FIFA because it is realistic and authentic. Turning up the silliness would turn those people off, so it's not a viable option when it comes to the FIFA franchise
At a certain point, there's only so many ways you can innovate when your simulating a real sport
So you missed out on the 5-a-side mode in FIFA Road to World Cup '98?Havent played a footie game since FIFA 95 #FightMe

I've got it!!
FIFA is a simulator. Just not a football simulator, it's a Sky Sports simulator. It simulates you sat watching a football game on tv.
