@Jaytality, thought it'd be best if I answered your question here:

Still loving MGS, mate. Beat the story over a week ago now and only just getting into FOB stuff. Still got a ton of Side Ops to complete as well. Metal Gear Online hits on Oct 6th so can't wait for that.

I'm on episode 39 I nearly have 150 side.ops done I want to.do.all them before making a last dash for the story. Just costumised my tranq sniper with a silencer. Like a a kid at christmas with it. I did a few of Them fob's got whacked out of it every time. Are you on Ps4 ye

Is this worth bothering with? I like RTS but this always seemed a lot of effort and pretty hard to do without making a crap decision and being routed

It's very in depth but accessible as well. They are in my opinion the best RTS games out there, but weirdly the best in the series, Shogun 2, isn't there.

On balance I'd recommend buying Shogun 2 on its own rather than that bundle, but if you already have Shogun 2 then it's a great deal with the $15 tier.

Silenced Sniper Tranqs make the game far too easy but a lot of fun nonetheless.

Side Ops can be done after the Main Ops so don't feel like you have to do 'em all before the last story missions, there are a lot of them after all.

And yeah I'm on PS4. It's a shame you can't look up a specific person's FOB or else I would try and rob all your stuff ;).

I'm JAYTALITY on Ps4 . You are right about the tranq sniper. I thought the same about the buddy system the dog atleast. I know that about side ops I'm just the type that eats the best part of his dinner last. It's a great game but a good few more missions heavily involved in the story instead of random wet work and a few more cut scenes would have made it contender for best game Ive played. I'm a big mgs fan.

Same here, mate. It's ironic that the MGS with the best gameplay ends up being the one with the weekest story. It feels like stuff was cut from the story as well. It's a shame but you're still guaranteed like 50+ hours of boss content from this game so I don't hold the game's story against it too much.

There is different rumours going around about why it was cut etc. As a game I won't fault it either on lack of story. I have been enjoying listening to the tapes on side ops but if it is to be the last game I do have a problem in that respect keep in mind I still have to finish it. I'd love a part 6 where solid is fighting big boss and hayter voices solid and sutherland as the dad. But it's not looking good is it?

have you played Rome 2? If so is it worth getting?

I hate it personally - I haven't played it since it was "fixed", but the problems with it weren't the initial bugs; it was a capture the flag mechanic that was just terrible.

Shogun 2 the better game in every sense, or if you want the newer graphics, go for Attila instead.

I want the same fun that the original Rome was, I might get the $15 bundle and try it out.
