Jim Sterling has a (transparent) persona because he's clearly someone who has had to develop that, as he's a big guy. Having that faux confident persona is painfully obvious but it's become his schtick. I do not know why people are so bothered by it.

Beyond that he often speaks some sense. I question a lot of his games reviews, and I think he can be unnecessarily provocative, but he raises a lot of good points and speaks out against a lot of industry BS which goes under the radar.

Lots of people talk good sense, however it all gets lost when he is rubbing pogs over his face in some faux sexual fetish.

He seems like he is actually an articulate guy, so why he feels the need to resort to constant curse words (which is solely to gain Youtube views) is lost on me.
