haha, shame theres a lack of competition as it could cause new ideas...suppose as they are making millions they dont really need to change things..

Problem is that there is such a duopoly, generated over years and years, that I imagine no publisher/developer sees any point in producing anything, as it would just get crushed and be ignored by most people/Fifa & PES fan(boy)s, even if it was really good.

in fact when was the alst time a fotoball game was released on a major platform that wasnt FIFA/PES(not including manager titles)?

There are a few on pc but certainly nothing major.

I seem to remember this one being particularly bad.

Actually supposed to be C&C Red Alert 2 but apparently the servers couldnt cope with the demand so they stuck Theme Hospital up instead. Which was a bugger for me as I already owned it on Origin!!!

PES released today, has anyone picked it up? I really liked 15, and was gonna get 2016 but the PC port has been a disaster so thats not gonna happen.

Put a couple of hours into NHL 16 last night

Not sure how I feel about it at the moment

The Fights are a bit rubbish and the difficulty levels are very poorly weighted

I find that on Rookie I'm killing teams 8-0, but on Pro the next level up, I'm getting battered 1-5

There's so semi-pro level in between, like FIFA has, so at the moment my choices are have a really easy game or get wellied

I shudder to think how hard "Superstar" level is

With respect mate, you have beef with Konami but you're fine with EA who at one point were voted the worst company in America.

Also, for someone who is obviously very passionate about gaming, you've basically dismissed a football game that's getting wide acclaim from all sites, some even saying it's one of the best of all time and the best of this generation.

Not an attack mate, I just don't get it.
