Computer games.

Tbh, swerve - 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTX750 won't get you as far as you think it would. It'd play decent, but fairly sure you can get that and then get another GFX card to go with it...

@Dylan would be of more help here.
No. GPU is a series 7.

You should be getting a series 9 now.
ie nvidia 950 and above

@Mikey_Fitzgerald I agree with those two....for the money you really want at least a GTX 950 in there. It is the comparable product, but almost 2 years younger. In terms of performance the 950 is almost 2x better than the 750 (source: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php - Passmark G3D GTX 750: 3246 & GTX 950: 5620)

Also of concern, for the money, is the fact you are getting an AMD cpu. Not saying AMD cpu's are bad, its just that the Intel products are so very, very much better. Also, it is worrying that they just say 'super fast quad core AMD processor' rather than actually give a model number.

So, just on the similar items bar, this is linked:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Graphics-16..._cp_147_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1G6J1SQMX32EZRXR75A0

It has:

  • i5 4460 (decent CPU, you won't be OC'ing it, but it will last you for a long time)
  • 8GB RAM (will get you along, and another 8GB upgrade is a doddle)
  • nVidia GTX 960 graphics.
  • Corsair power supply
  • A better looking case than the other one
Also you will be free to get yourself a decent kb+m combo, rather than the rubbish they are bundling with the other one.

Ouch! That happens a fair bit doesn't it? AI seems to often get events that spawn huge armies just when they need them! :(
Aye. I know how I'd take them to pieces if I wasn't a vassal, play v. aggressively and attack them before they can attack me to whittle down those numbers, I have the cash and income to sustain a merc army for a bit so would probably do that.
Might have to do the same from within using the faction system to declare independence e.t.c but I only have at max 10% plot power because of those dooms tacks. Going to take an age, particularly as it seems they aren't too aggressive.

Also, @Mikey_Fitzgerald if you do get that one above, welcome to the world of 'above 30fps gaming!!!'

The problem with that is, once you have experienced it, going back to the likes of consoles running at 30fps is incredibly painful.

I'll admit im not fully genned up on the steam box, but I can't see what it does that a PC can't do.

It is supposed to be a console like experience. It basically runs 'Big Picture' mode. But yeah, it is basically a small form PC of varying specs.

Think of it like getting to pick an Xbox One or PS4, but with no restrictions on which games you can run.

So basically a PC lite?
