Senderos is a more known name so I think he might be more interesting for some of the staff with the reason:

Supporters know him and if we get him they will think... "Oh, great we sign up a known player with lots of experience, who cares about Lescott?"

I might want him as a backup, but not as a building stone in our defence.

Senderos is the Bramble of the Sky four. Yes he's improved, but he's still poor. Yobo has lapses of concentration (generally once a game ranging in severity), but both Bramble and Senderos can go on game long lapses.

Saying he's good enough for AC Milan means nothing when they've not taken him on... That's like saying the same about VDM, Castillo, Anderson Da Silva, Kroldrop, etc

Got it in one (y) Senderos, crap player, the white Titus Bramble, as bad as each other. Do we really want to get relegated this year?
 

This can't be true can it? Way to slow. We thought Hibbo was lacking pace in the final against Malouda. I have to admit I watch a lot of the Arses games through the years and he isn't for us unless Moyes can work with him but you can't teach speed. He would be behind Yobo and Jags when he comes back but he can't play on the outside like Lescott can.:(
 
He'd be 3rd choice back up...and even 4th choice when Jags gets back, if we got him.

Depends on the price to be fair especially if Turner etc are rated at 7mill.
 
If we have [Poor language removed] all for transfers atm I would accept it and I mean [Poor language removed] all like nothing at all. If we can sign a replacement for 10m> it leaves 10 or so to get a right back or right winger which I think will end up being a net gain
 
I'd like Senderos for Villa tbh. Think he is decent, and will only get better. And he has a lot of experience.
 

As big KB says, it depends on the price really.

Moyes said we aren't looking at a big signing so 4-6 million players will probably be what we're looking at. Squad players and young players with potential.

He’d be a useful backup option at centre back.
 
I saw senderos play a few times for arsenal. his positional play was pretty good but he was easily turned by swift attackers and often let down by poor control.

imo he's not up to being considered a serious replacement for lescott although he would make a decent squad player and maybe moyes et al can get something more out of him.

on that basis wouldn't mind seeing him come in at all.
 
he dislocated his shoulder in the 2006 world cup. that is an injury that just keeps coming back.

moyes should be able to push the price down a couple of million on that fact alone.
