I think I would rather see the bird man tonight in stead of john stones. it sounds like the pitch won't be good for ball playing so we don't need a cb that's good on the ball , and Alcaraz is our best cb in the air. Set pieces could well decide this game for either side.

I'm sat in my office - Everton shirt on over my shirt - my CEO walked in this morning and was like "WTF??". I've let him know I'll be unavailable between 1pm and 3pm Central.

Although I do have a call with McDonald's at 1:30pm Central - you can imagine if we smash one in just before HT - I'll be celebrating with my phone on mute!

COYB!!!

I felt proud as cluck today - driving my big blue truck into work, license plate EFC 1878, playing The Farm "Altogether Now for Everton" at full volume down I10. @TX Bill

...just checked the odds and Kiev are clear favourites to win the game but I was more interested in what their take is on who makes it into the next round. I suspect that betting will be very tight.

My thinking is that if we score 2 that should be enough to get us through. Good luck Blues and safe journey for everybody out there.

....I also think their CF is useful in the air.

Skybet offering a very short (I think) 8/15 ON that we progress from the tie. About 6/4 for them.

Was nice to hear Danny Murphy getting behind us, and telling everyone else to do the same.
I thought I was hearing things on talksport this morning when that came on, even that little irish hobgoblin colin murray stuck Z-cars on with a goals montage played over it... goosebumps!!!

Play your best players if fully fit, Stones's qualities much more outweigh Alcaraz's
