That is all well and good ' but Tim Howard under pressure if they are allowed to dominate the Midfield early on does not settle the defence by not commanding the box when Barry plays we always seem to concede when TH is under pressure as in the first leg - I would hope Gibson , and Osman would put us on the front foot from the whistle!

why would they dominate the midfield? let them have the ball in non threatening areas and let then them know about it when they come near our box.............in all fairness to Osman this is the type of game which could completely bypass him

Whatever happens tonight, I'm pretty sure we won't bottle it.

Martinez team talk will hopefully be something like "be yourselves, play with expression and don't be scared"

vs Moyes

"press the ball, run hard, and watch out for their best players"
I deliver parcels for Yodel and this morning I had one parcel each for a Moyes and, the last delivery of the day, a Martinez. Don't know if it was any sort of omen but at least they were in the correct order.

If we won the whole thing would we create a new Everton, oh we love everton, everton oh we love everton song?

Couldn't imagine everyone yelling Tim Howaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard instead of Neville Southaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll
Plus nicknames aren't like they used to be. Kev The Rat, Psycho Pat, Shaggy Stevens, Tricky Trev!
errrrrr Aids McGeady
Ice cream Kone

Didn't notice Kone in any of the warm up shots from yesterday when they were running round the track - anyone else see him?

They have to open up and come at us, and that plays right into our hands, any team in Europe that have done that to us have been spanked.

I expect us to win tonight, looking forward to it.

Kyiv have no need to go for an all out attack, 1-0 will do the job for them. In their league (overall quality not known), they have a rock solid defence and score plenty, so they will fancy their chances to win 1-0. I can see the first half being very cagey from both teams.
