i would love us to win this trophy. there's definitely a chance but i just have a feeling we'll come up short against a CL dropout in the quarters or semis. this is such a tough group and we could get 14 points.

we've definitely made a statement so far.

can't agree with all the crap about "everton deserve it because they've shown the competition respect". it's only english teams that show disrespect mainly. all the other teams in the group have been playing their best possible team, we've probably been the most disrespectful in the group because we've played a mix and match of rotation players.

We've been playing the players we have healthy, we have a hard enough time putting together a healthy first XI never mind rotating!

Hopefully we avoid trips to Turkey/Greece and being drawn against Spanish teams in the next round. Not because I don't think we can beat these teams, I just want a more simplified route for us.

Looking at the teams currently in second place in the Europa groups, Aalborg look like the team that everyone will want in the next round. Torino would be a nice draw, too. They've struggled without Immobile and Cerci this season and Turin is a nice city to visit.
