Robert Jarvis

Player Valuation: £35m
I know that he has scored a few goals for us but last night we should have won. Jo was found to be wanting and he is supposed to be a Brazillian international.

Unless he scores a hatful of goals in the last games if he is played then he should be packed off back to city. We cannot afford the millions that City would ask for, especially a hit and miss striker. How they could possibly see anything in him which merited a multi million transfer fee is beyond me. On his performance I would place his value as no more than 5 mill and that IMO is being generous.

So do we need to look for another striker 9n the summer to back up Yak, Vaughan, Anichebe and Saha, I think we do. Love will be too expensive anyway he wants Spain so any one with any ideas?

Hes got it for me! Id like to see him play deeper of someone to be honest! Yesterday was his best game leading the line, his finishing could have been better but thems the breaks. Key Jo words in the positive sense:

Playing deep
Movement
Vison
Build Up play
Touch
Skill
Tactical Awareness
Attitude
Techniuqe

Season long loan please.

Very harsh assessment from the O.P on Jó display last night. But for the end product he had a very good game and led the line superbly.

No, sorry, got to agree with RJ on this one. If you're gonna be a top class striker you have to take those one v ones. We should've won last night.

If we had to buy him in the Summer I wouldn't, our money could be better spent elsewhere. If we could get him on loan again I'd snap him up, because for free he's useful. But that won't happen.

His all round play is getting better and better, it's there for everyone to see to be honest. His movement and link up play was first class yesterday, it was his finishing that let him down.

He didn't go missing and that silly Brazilian stereotype is dead as far as I’m concerned, anyone can miss chances but his work rate and all round contribution to the game was very good.

He’s been a very good loan signing, sadly he’s too expensive for us and won’t be here next season. I wish him luck wherever he goes, he’s a talented player and seems to have a very good attitude.

The Mirror pointed out - Jo can show flashes of being a world beater...but also flashes of why Citeh fans think he's a flop.

If he buried his 2 chances, I think Moyes would change his mind about buying and would try to hammer out a deal.

The Villa game and last night he improved a lot in my eyes. His ability to ghost into space and play the last defender (as shown superbly just before Cech clattered into him last night) as well as his hold up play and touch make him a classy player.

And he's only 21. His all round game looks very good, it was just hsi finishing last night.

We wont be buying him anyway, Moyes has said.

The points you and Neiler made do not win games. He is supposed to be a striker and goals win games. I am glad that NeoNaoNeo agrees.

At home.

And in both of those games we'd have won without his goals.

Don't need a fairweather striker.

Goals are goals, goals win games. It really doesn't matter to be honest.

I'm confident his away goal is just around the corner, his performances against both Villa and Chelsea have been very good. He's getting into the right positions as he showed and caused Terry and Alex all sorts of problems.

Cant have the fella , and on that subject . Toccy , if Louis Saha is the King , you certainly never saw Bally , and you severely underestimate Timothy .
I thank you .
