Valid point about Cahill, although he was still being given much more license to get forward. Told to drop to the wings but got forward. Fellaini sat.

I saw it with my own two eyes mate. Osman played the deepest of the midfield four.

No one was playing in the holding role but Osman was definatly the deepest. Everytime Neville had the ball outwide Fellaini ran into the box like he usually does.

Fellaini was shocking, there's no defending a performance like that. Whether he's playing attacking midfield or defensive midfield.

Osman normally ended up quite deep because of the amount of tracking back he had to do from losing the ball consistantly.

Clearly he was one of the best players in the game, did you see his delivery in the first half sublime, his range of passing is something special and one of our players who can actually keep hold of and find a man with a ball. looks like the high vis expeiorment went worng and our players are actually crap at passing.

And on this DM debate. No one played that role tonight, Tim Sherwood put it perfectly. In his post match analysis he said "when Everton attacked, they just threw men forward willy nilly". And we did. All 4 midfielders pushed on everytime we went forward. And they were always joined by either Lescott or Neville. Leaving huge gaps. We have no idea how to create a chance, so we bombard them hoping the ball will fall kindly.

To my horror Im feeling sorry for Cal here. I know we all desperately want him to come good and Im sure he will but he was awful tonight, as he has been a lot of times when Ive seen him.

Cal got it spot on when he said he's sometimes a passenger. In short: he need to be dropped and the coaching staff need to get to work on him. With how were playing at the moment we cant afford a 15 million player who is one for the future.

As I said chico. At the start of the season we were worse before Fellaini arrived. To focus all blame and attention on him is wide of the mark in my opinion.

The problem isn't the new 20-year-old foreign signing who needs time to settle. Been "awful a lot of the times you have seen him" a lot? How many games has he played? he's had three MOTMs on here - the problem isn't Fellaini - its the established Yakubus,Lescotts,Artetas etc,
