January signing perhaps?

I'd like us to get a goalie that can catch crosses if there's any money spare. If Landon comes in we are very, very well covered in every area IMO.

You say my figures are way off in fantasy land - can you prove that?
Rodwell sold for £15 mill, Cahill for just over a mill, Yobo for around 2 mill, Silva 350,000 plus their wages.
Mirallas bought for £5.3 mill, Pienaar roughly £3 mill, Oviedo roughly £2 mill, Naismith free plus their wages.
You do the math!
Also, you indicate that our midfield is poor - the same midfield that has helped Everton create the most shots on goal by any team in the top 5 European Leagues. Seems like they are doing okay to me.
You also say that Mirallas,Naismith and Donovan can play up front which is correct but they can also play in midfield, along with a host of other players, so for me that area is covered.
The one thing the top sides have that set them above the rest is quality front players - we have Jelavic - what happens if/when he gets injured long term? I would say we need a top quality striker to either play with or replace him and I don't think what we currently have is capable of that.

My point with cash available is no one knows, but u can't add it up like u do in footy manager and come up with what we have to spend. Based on the fact we were trying to do a deal for ofoe I'd say there's money available for another signing and maybe Donovan.

The top sides have something we don't ...ample funds for signing 5M+ players to sit on the bench when needed. Also offer CL ect to pursuade them to come and sit on said bench.

The chances we have created u speak of... Have they been created all by nev and ossie?? Have we or have we not looked a lot more vunruable with ossie and nev?? How long have these players got left in them?? Nev I'd be supprised if he's got another season!

It would be a luxury to have another striker at the mo...it's a nessesatey for another CM

That is all I am saying - we must have some funds to spend so why not spend? I never said we had a specific amount. We could get this Vadis lad in on loan - as we originally attempted, and still have a bit to spend I'm sure. As for the midfield, i'm not saying those chances were ALL created by Neville and Osman but the fact is that they have been part of the team that has created all these chances. They deserve credit for that. I agree that Neville is probably in his last season and Osman can't have much longer than that but that isn't yet, if this Vadis turns out to be a gem, get him snapped up in the summer!

Well Moist did try and sign that Niang, so I think a striker is on his radar, but that might have been before Victor started playing like the Scouse Drogba.

I personally think this fellas price will be a touch high for us.

Think you forgot about agent fees and sign on fees and so on... Just sayin.

Anybody who wants Cahill on loan clearly doesn't want us to challenge for the top four.

Wouldn't be very good injury cover either, seeing as he's banned from playing....
