January signing perhaps?

yeah, we judge players at 19 now...cant be giving them a chance, even if they look promising

changy(sorry bainaar...freudian slip) hates vellios for some unknown reason

And he has a horrible username

I've heard things about Vellios. Nothing about his talent though

Things I've heard but have no idea if true:
- Moyes doesn't like his attitude
- He's at the limit where if he plays anymore games we have to pay more money
- Wanted to go out on loan
- Had a bust up with Moyes

Like I say, no idea how true those things are, but none are about how talented he is.

What's up with all these threads being either off-topic or nonsense. Oh well, I guess I do that often myself.

I'm pretty sure he'll benefit from training with the players we have now as there's alot of skillz to learn from. He'll get his chances but maybe a loan would be what he should be looking to get to get / keep sharp as both Jelavic and Anichebe are before him now in the pecking order so his chances are limited bar a horrible injury crisis a la Everton.

On topic but not about players. How about a change in DM's Deputy (Mr Round) or other parts of the coaching team in January? One of the signs of a good leader who can last is someone who continually refreshes his executive team to bring in new ideas, approaches as well as challenge the others so they do not get too stuck in a routine. We are playing Boss at the moment and yes CM would be my priority to strengthen on the playing side but do not forget, if we want to be Top 4 then DM needs a top 4 Coaching team. Does he really have one today?

I'm a big fan of Vellios but we're not exactly missing him at the moment given how well Jelavic and Anichebe are playing and I think fox said that the general opinion of the coaching staff is that he doesn't have the right attitude.

We're sitting 2nd in the table and playing some great football and you're advocating tearing apart the coaching team that helped get us there, is this post even serious?

Wtf???

Whiteshadow - I did not state or even hint at tearing up the coaching team. What I believe is that, just like we have added players since January 2012 to improve the playing Team and Squad, the coaching team should not be ignored. Just as you freshen up a Team sometimes adding something different to the coaching team adds something extra also. Now we are playing Boss the important thing is to keep this going. You can do this by further strengthening the team in January - the topic of this thread - and I would suggest adding something extra to the coaching team also. So Yes I am deadly serious.
