Looks bad in this video. 2 goals which were absolute flukes and a load of headers straight at the keeper. Still yet to see him get hold of a ball and run with it, I don't think he's capable.
Think Beto’s goal against Newcastle after we made 485 passes. Strength on the touchline then a flat out sprint with the ball towards goal whilst holding off a defender.

Even if Barry had won the touchline battle there is no chance he makes it to the penalty area without overtaking the ball after missing a touch and having to wait to it to catch up, or literally just tripping himself up, or just being easily brushed off it and claiming he was fouled.

It’s a crude singular example, but the isolating way have played over recent years, there are certain things our lone striker HAS to do. How we managed to spend that much money on a player, who may have had potential, but has absolutely NONE of the characteristics, skills, determination or attitude we need is utterly bizarre.

He’s still rubbish, people will cling on to him being young but he’s miles off, we aren’t talking levels of consistency here we’re talking levels of simply not good enough utter rubbish, him McNeil, Mykolenko getting regular minutes is a sign of how far off we still are, hopefully don’t get Europe this season and can improve again next season and get in, we will hopefully be in a much better position in terms of squad depth

I think a few have forgot this is the first season in a while we've been absolutely nowhere near the relegation door all season and have enjoyed looking at least flirting with Europe. And why shouldnt they. God knows its just usually stress. In january 2025 when he got sacked we were a point out the bottom 3. I'd have taken not a sniff of relegation and in the hunt for a Europe spot in just over a year.
The squad still needs work. Quite a bit of it as well imo.

And probably WE will pay 50% of his wages. Total f+++up!
A small price to pay if it means he's away from our squad.

It's really bad business and I hope they learn a lesson from it. We can't accept players like this at our club, we've gave him all the support and patience and he's done [Poor language removed] all.

I've stuck by him for most of the season, but his application since his mates got roughed up at Arsenal has been very poor, particularly in the derby. He needs binning off in the summer, with Beto retained as back up. We need to stop faffing about with unproven strikers and make a big money statement like we did with Lukaku, if we can attract such a player. The lack of a consistent striker has cost us points this season.

Anyone else just really dislike him not for his footballing ability but also his attitude etc.? I know that he's French so he was always going to appear rude with his mannerisms but he always just has such arrogant body language and facial expressions. Always seems like he only cares that he scores and does good himself as opposed to the team winning.
😂 think you are doing most French people a disservice service there.

But I kinda of liked the fact he had his head in his hands when he came off with not scoring. I thought he showed that passion.

But when he turned on the fans about his mates at Arsenal and couldn’t even run around v Liverpool was enough for me. I am sure prob a couple of fans did have a moan at his mates but most of the fans would of been sound and they are the same ones that were cheering him wanting him to do well while he wasn’t scoring.
