Just a little thing (& I know its petty), the signs on the roads outside saying Event on 10/2/26 at Hill Dickinson Stadium, why can't they say Everton match?

I presumed that they were intended to be generic, and only the dates needed swapping out, so whether it was an Everton match, an international, a rugby match, a concert - or whatever - they could use the same language.

But getting all angry about what stands might be named, when there are no rumours about names, or even suggestions that they are going to be given names, is more than a little pathetic.

It’s such a frustration to come into a thread about our wonderful, but admittedly not perfect, new stadium and find the same names whining over and over about imaginary scenarios.
