2025/26 David Moyes

What's the source for this?

Also why are Brentford and Bournemouth not relegated? Should they be happy to be relegated if we're going for wages as a metric for performance? Why are Tottenham where they are?

No idea how accurate.

Obviously there's outliers for badly run clubs like Spurs and well run clubs like Brentford but it'll be hard for us to compete over a long period until we start paying more.

We'll beat West Ham 2-1. Cracks papered over, little head rub on MOTD from resident kopite Danny Murphy - "he's done a great job in just 16 months, reckon Everton could still get that Conference League spot".

And he has to an extent, but let's not be under any illusions. The win was there, the strikers and the rub of the green (as per) were not. Whatever it takes. Get a striker and proper FBs.

Breach PSR, suck off the CEO of Toyota and toss his salad, whore the stadium out for Bob Vylan hate concerts and dodgem car championships (would actually watch the latter tbf!), sell Barry for five magic sodding beans. Whatever it takes.

Just get some players like JB, KDH, Gana and Illy with a bit about them. 8 out of 11 players wanted it today, but 8 isn't enough. All 11 have to want it like I want to be dominated by Dakota Johnson.

Weird freak you.

Honestly he should have brought on Alcaraz and George and moved Illy up front. Barry is negative on the pitch. Just awful awful recruiting this summer pretty much across the board.
When Beto gets a head injury and has to come off, it's very difficult as a manager to do anything other than go like for like. We needed a good centre forward on the pitch to help us be competitive in the match. I dont think any of the other players on the bench would have given that either

The problem goes back to repeatedly digning rubbish attacking players over many many summers.

You 'give it a rest' lad we've just lost a derby mate we're not gunna be tossing ourselves off over the fact Moyes is better than Dyche, actually at least Dyche won a derby :hayee:
Cry harder it makes you a better blue.

We played alright today until Beto went off.

Anyone who can't see that and wants to make up that we sat back and didn't pretend to win can wallow in their misery.

They’re either not good enough or the manager won’t play them. Either way it’s a massive waste of money.
Yes it is down to him, he keeps telling us he has the last say when it comes to transfers, so it is down to him. the other thing that keeps me thining is we are continually being linked with older players, Stones, Lukaku, the lad from West Ham, cant remember his name as well as a few more.

You're humiliated by Moyes speaking about the game or the game itself?

The manner of the way we were told to play today and the last minute defeat in those surroundings.

I feel complete humiliation at this club, and I'm humiliated as an Evertonian that Moyes shrugs his shoulders (AGAIN) and opens his stupid 'kin grid to make more excuses (AGAIN).

We rip the piss out of them for their entitled attitude and hysterical reaction to the slightest adversity but by accident or design it helps drives standards. Until we shake off the plucky little Everton “ we won’t beat you but we might bruise your nose occasionally” attitude then we’ll just drift further and further in to the abyss of irrelevance. Football was escapism for the working class, no one’s expecting miracles but at least have a manager that’s not in awe of the opposition, especially in this mediocre PL season
Does that make Barry not crap?

I think it's a massive leap to pretend him coming on was going to make us win or not lose.

Just anything to blame Moyes for a last minute goal this.
Really not hard to understand why people would want to see fresh legs come on in midfield when the players that started there have faded badly towards the end of the game.

No one saying Iroegbunam is Makelele, but you obviously think Moyes is completely infallible and nothing anyone says is going to change your mind.

I mean take away the we were playing them lot,

Could have been anyone today and emotions aside of the occasion that’s a massively massively disappointing result. Team out of form, so few games left and a potentially a huge step forward in a race for Europe

Just feel it’s the Moyes glass ceiling, if ever two games the last week summed him up from the good to the ugly

Took all the positivity in 90 mins and turned the season into ‘Meh’

That being said should never be satisfied with leaving the hopes of a successful season late
