2025/26 David Moyes

If that improvement ends up us finishing 12th where we finished pretty much last season after blowing 100 plus million m
Is that actually an improvement!

Never mind the white flag in the cups!!

But yeah give him a deal for life
I’d say it’s an improvement after fighting relegation for years. We still have most of those players in the squad so there’s a lot more rebuilding to do.

The first season in a new stadium is notoriously difficult so hopefully we’ll see an improvement in home results next season. The most difficult thing will be maintaining the away record as it’s not far off the away form a title contender would have.

The Friedkins have said the improvement will be gradual and the upward trajectory needs to continue season by season.

I definitely don't blame him for not making more subs. Our subs who did come onto the pitch were a big reason why we lost the game. Barry and George were both abysmal when they came on. George totally lacked quality abd composure. I think Barry lacked effort as well which is totally unacceptable

I do blame Moyes for his lack of a strong mentality over years of losing these type of matches. He doesn't have what it takes to start winning big games regularly.

A player has to be like Makelele to come on for Everton now yeah? It's gone from 'we've got no bench' to 'he's not Makelele'

Personally think Tim was fine next to Garner when Gana was away, don't think that's some mad take.
I think it's a massive leap to pretend him coming on was going to make us win or not lose.

Just anything to blame Moyes for a last minute goal this.

We'll beat West Ham 2-1. Cracks papered over, little head rub on MOTD from resident kopite Danny Murphy - "he's done a great job in just 16 months, reckon Everton could still get that Conference League spot".

And he has to an extent, but let's not be under any illusions. The win was there, the strikers and the rub of the green (as per) were not. Whatever it takes. Get a striker and proper FBs.

Breach PSR, suck off the CEO of Toyota and toss his salad, whore the stadium out for Bob Vylan hate concerts and dodgem car championships (would actually watch the latter tbf!), sell Barry for five magic sodding beans. Whatever it takes.

Just get some players like JB, KDH, Gana and Illy with a bit about them. 8 out of 11 players wanted it today, but 8 isn't enough. All 11 have to want it like I want to be dominated by Dakota Johnson.

We rip the piss out of them for their entitled attitude and hysterical reaction to the slightest adversity but by accident or design it helps drives standards. Until we shake off the plucky little Everton “ we won’t beat you but we might bruise your nose occasionally” attitude then we’ll just drift further and further in to the abyss of irrelevance. Football was escapism for the working class, no one’s expecting miracles but at least have a manager that’s not in awe of the opposition, especially in this mediocre PL season

Honestly he should have brought on Alcaraz and George and moved Illy up front. Barry is negative on the pitch. Just awful awful recruiting this summer pretty much across the board.
