Since my earlier pessimism in the predicted table was so poorly received, I've done a revised one (without the RS game vs Palace) based on the largely encouraging events of this month (and I do still think Spurs will survive!):

The 17th best team in the league strolled through the group stage, even after a disappointing knockout round don't underestimate how good all the PL sides are compared to much of Europe. Even if we did struggle you can't turn down the money and the prestige of CL qualification. In any case still highly remote.

Rather the realistic chance for us winning the Conference League, still building a squad & pushing on again in the league next season. Than abit more revenue more from CL appearances and finishing 15th.

I can see bth sides, its not a case of not wanting CL football.
But for me, i want a trophy win

We NEED European football

CL qualification could transform us as a club..... do we have enough to get there.... I am not so sure, especially after our run of games earlier this calendar year!

Europa or Conference would give us that European stage and tbh, especially with the latter, you think there would be a very good chance of going far in the competition.

Either way... Europe is needed not only to retain our current top players, but to be able to build again with the quality needed for next season!
