That owner's decisions have got them promoted, and in Europe.
At some point you just have to accept that maybe he knows what he's doing.
Maybe.
Laughing, well, there's context before it - but the point would remain, apply whatever context you like.
The end result will still dictate that Nottingham Forest are at their highest level under their current owner since, well, i'll let you finish that.
So... what? You can't assess where a football club is under an owner after 8 years?
The story does indeed continue. As it always does.
But the fact remains - under Marinakis, Nottingham Forest are a Premier League Club, currently playing European Football.
I've got a bad back and greys coming through, and without question, Forest are at their best now in my lifetime.
They undoubtedly owe their owner for that.
There's the context - if you want to argue with it, provide your own context.
He's been there over 8 years now mate. The chaos has only been upward.
Premier League, Wembley, Europe. He's delivered pipe dream stuff for them.
I wouldn't have hired Postecoglou either. But I wouldn't have hired Cooper. Or Nuno Santo.
But as I say, most take the piss at the loon, I did at one time but now, you have to acknowledge the direction of travel under that club under him.
As I say mate, over 8 years he's been there.
It's already 'worked' in that Forest are at their best since the 80s - he's achieved more than anyone could have expected.
To add, their game prior to him taking over - Forest needed a win on the final day - they won 3-0, to avoid relegation on goal difference to League One.

You'd be hard pushed to name a club in English football with as much tangible progress in the near decade under Marinakis.
^ There's the context.
I'd love to pay that price. How many millions is it worth to Sean?Dyche has paid the price.
Don't think they would touch him now. if he somehow ended up back there, that pub will end up getting rebranded..His next job will be Burnley in the Championship.
So just to be totally clear, are we now saying he DOESN’T know what he’s doing?

I remember people saying he would have them comfortably mid tableI wonder if his two remaining diehards will still go into bat for him ?
