They ran around a lot as usual, and got into defensive positions as usual, and chased the long ball as usual. In other words, their mileage covered will be the same as usual. They gave their all to the task Moyes asked them to do ie. be cautious.

We're the very opposite of 'mentality monsters' I predicted before the game we'd have to win it before a penalty shootout as I had no faith we'd have the bottle if it came to spot kicks

I would even go as far to say the game was over once Sunderland scored which is a terrible indictment of the team as there was no way we would have scored two or more and we all knew what was going to happen in the shootout.

You seen the one he took for England? Nearly burst through the net. The way that both Barry and Beto strike the ball generally mean that they should be nowhere near any of those pens, defo not #2 & #3
