Mystifying to me that people watched DCL struggle here for years, are now seeing him go to Leeds and start scoring while his replacement here struggles and are not putting 1 and 2 together to make 3.
Not saying Barry can't impose himself more but clearly there's an underlying issue with how we play as a team.
Hard to believe when Beto comes on and looks completely different in effort and movement.
Here you go. Here's what he looked like before us. Pretty similar. Can't strike a ball. Bad defending and poor goalkeeping let him score. Highlights end because he does something crap. Hits and hopes a bunch of stuff.

So yes I agree with you but Barry & Beto are not class in any definition.....
We currently have one way of playing, move the ball out to the left and hope Grealish can do something, that’s it.
There’s not one striker in the world that would thrive in our system.
If you watched the game properly, you’d have seen a totally isolated Barry for nearly the whole match, normally with at least two players behind him.
I’m not saying he’s a great striker by the way, I’m just pointing out, that no striker would’ve done any better with the total lack of service he got last night.

Watching last at one point, we had Dwight, bombing down the wing like a three legged Turtle ready to unleash one of his many devastating crosses. I may of over exaggerated there. 
but when he landed, there wasn't a soul in the box ! Barry was on the edge of the box but seemed reluctant to enter the box. McNeil turned around and passed it backwards. Point being we are not getting enough bodies into the box, maybe this is why Grealish lays it back for a shooting opportunity more often than not.

I agree but Barry was totally anonymous last night no runs & in the first half our midfield three were dominating the play . It took Keane to score & hit the post ?

Agree that we don't create much for a striker, and agree many good strikers wouldn't be getting a sniff... But he isn't helping himself by being a statue most of the time and marking himself out of the game.
Make a run across the defenders, even if just to pull someone away and create space elsewhere. Hold the ball up and recycle. Win the header. Anything really.
I'd be less concerned if he was missing loads of chances but the truth is he's nowhere near any chances we create.
I think there's a bit of a player in there for Barry. Beto not so much. But neither are good enough for what we need.

I find it hard to blame Barry/Dibling when our attacking players are set up to fail. In the system we run it is very difficult for wingers to function without support. Ndiaye and Grealish are outliers and even they get caught up when the play stops. If you have nonexistent play on the wings due to stagnation, then you better have an absolute magician in the middle.
We have not seen that yet. The striker is absolutely left for dead. He is running on fumes trying to beat PL CB's in a muscle man competition which is no small feat. The team is set up horrendously which is on the manager. Pointless possession only gets you so far. We can't just be the twinkle toes Grealish show.
