This should be a very comfortable victory but it probably won’t be. Still expecting a win but I suspect it will be a struggle
I agree , my point is you wouldn’t be shocked if he was awful . The fact that out right back options are him with hardly any appearances of note , a player who should have been replaced years ago and is perennially unfit , a 7’ centre half and a midfielder tells a story .Patterson got skinned once from memory but he and Dibling largely dealt with Hudson-Odoi and Everton played very well against Forest. Even if Patterson is at fault for one goal against Wolves I would probably take that for the likely net gain from having O'Brien at centre back and with Dibling having an actual full back behind him. We will likely create more chances offensively and be more secure defensively through the middle. Tarkowski plays a lot better with O'Brien plus the latter actually gives us a bit of recovery pace.
Compare that with the performance against Brentford where all four goals were avoidable and most goals could be attributed to the defensive set up.
See this! leads by example. Doesn't even use the letter 'F'.
I am with you on that.Weird, I read it the other way. Seeing all manner of excuses and downplaying expectations before games nowadays.
We've had enough of that when we really were crap. We've got some decent attacking players now, and were about to play the worst Premier League team ever. Heaven forfend we show a little optimism and confidence...
Weather forecast not too bad so may make some people change their mind & attend.A lot of empty seats for a start![]()
It's a completely different game to Forest where we sat back and soaked up pressure and made sure that the FBs were well protected.
This is a game we have to win and win well.
The back 4 should be Garner Tarkowski O'Brien Mykolenko and with an emphasis on the two FBs getting forward beyond the wide men.

We shouldn’t be in this situation but I feel a bit like Moyes is damned whatever option he chooses . That said Patterson feels like the obvious choice but let’s not pretend it’s without risks because it’s not .
. Beau Webster.Play the same full backs and we’ll struggleIf Moyes plays the same back 4 and McNeil as a 10 again Wolves should and will bully us, just as Brentford did
Our full backs are such an easy target for opposition to target and it was made worse on Sunday by the midfield being dragged into this and out of position
O’Brien needs to play as a centre back - Tarkowski and Keane should not be playing together
Whoever plays in the 10 needs to have some level of effect on the game and not leave a gaping chasm in the middle of the pitch that makes it feel as though we are playing with 10 men
Well being a priest you would say that!See this! leads by example. Doesn't even use the letter 'F'.
Hold on a few weeks he could making statements about Dyche if or when Forest climb over Everton in the table!Well when we trounced his gaffer twice in a month he ran away from the forum and hid, so I’d expect nothing less.
