The problem with the patience viewpoint is the team is the oldest in the division and the manager is one of the older ones as well. We’re starting Keane, Tarkowski, Gana and Grealish every week. This isn’t a patience setup. This is a get it done today setup.

There’s a way to finish 11th that is thrilling and exciting for what is to come and there’s a way to do it that’s a bit more dreary and we’re doing the more dreary one.

Was never going to change in one window ofc i get what you are saying and is key we get a mix of both. Getting younger players in to grow into starting roles that can push out the older lads.

is fair not to be a fan of the manager but at the same time when he gets things right or wrong is fine to say. Like starting tim at fulham garner rb, him not moving kdh to a mid three instead of the 10 role. He got it right last night and was glad to see us playing positive football not playing with fear. Time will tell if he can get us back to what we want as a club and then questions will be asked. Atm deserves a chance to show he can and next season i will be looking at him getting alot more out of this team

Yeah because we’ve had a transfer window and brought in a few players. Even then I’d argue that Palace still has the better deeper squad, especially in defence.

Moyes is moving us forward, we’ll only see how far as the results play out.

Look the red card is the reason for this and I fully expect we would have had a different game without it but we didn’t have a shot after the goal. It’s just mythologizing what happened to say this was some kind of largely positive showing.

Again it was right in the situation to do what we did, but be honest about it!

Handling of Dibling has been very frustrating so far, but I completely get why he didn't bring him on last night.
Lad is young, likes to take players on, and might not have the experience and guile to see the game out.

That said, Dibling should have had far more minutes before tonight.

The majority of those players he inherited. Eze went for 70 mill, Wharton has had interest from Real Madrid, Guehi was going for 40 mill with one year left on his deal to Liverpool. Mateta could be sold for a substantial fee, ditto Sarr and Munoz.

Moyes inherited a squad with Pickford and Branthwaite its only real assets. He’s then had to spend a window getting in some quality to even get remotely close to what Palace had.

So yeah the base they were building from is completely different. Glasner inherited Olise and Eze on the flanks, Moyes had Harrison McNeil and Lindstrom once Ndiaye was crocked.

I think you're being a bit kind there: the performances against West Ham, Villa, Spurs, and most of the games against Palace and Forest were terrible.

That's about 8 of the 14 competitive games we've had so far.

This group of players should be doing way better.

But ok, we have momentum with the last two wins. If we've turned a corner we have a decent test of that against Newcastle, I suppose.

Ndiaye is a far bigger asset than either of those two mate. He is the only player of ours that gets genuine praise from others outside of the club, he is seriously rated by a lot of people/pundits and other clubs. We need to tie him down and make him want too stay as the vultures will come for him, maybe not in January but definitely if he has a decent World Cup.
