New contract talks soon?
666 the number of the beast
And that beast is David Moyes
I see what you're doing there, you little sausage!New contract talks soon?
Caught with my pants downI see what you're doing there, you little sausage!
He's got a negative net spend of -£37m, since he's been there and he's definitely improved a number of those players that you have listed.Didn’t Glasner lose a load of games at the start of last season and had Palace in the relegation zone with fans from other teams calling for him to be fired? Palace held firm and were rewarded. Managers need time, let’s see how far Moyes can take us, if he hits a ceiling I’m sure the Friedkins will get someone else in but if you need a manager to take a team from scrapping at the bottom into Europe then Moyes has a proven pedigree for that.
He also didn’t inherit Henderson Mitchell Guehi Andersen Munoz Wharton Lerma Eze Olise Mateta. That’s almost a very good first 11 ready made at the club. He’s then been able to sell Olise and Eze for mega money to fund more transfers.
How many of the squad Moyes picked up last season get in that line up? Pickford, Branthwaite maybe (who’s injured). That’s it. So he’s starting from a quality base way below what Glasner picked up (even though I think Glasner is a very good manager)
Ndiaye is a far bigger asset than either of those two mate. He is the only player of ours that gets genuine praise from others outside of the club, he is seriously rated by a lot of people/pundits and other clubs. We need to tie him down and make him want too stay as the vultures will come for him, maybe not in January but definitely if he has a decent World Cup.
Agree about Ndiaye. Saint - You're conveniently ignoring the massive improvement that Glasner has achieved with some of those players, who were simply not as highly rated as you are now portraying. Mateta for instance was a bit part player with 3 goals in 24 games before Glasner took over. Then he scored 21 goals in 35 games under Glasner. That's great coaching. No idea what the relevance of that is.
This is his cup final line up.
Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Munoz, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell, Sarr, Eze, Mateta.
The majority of those players he inherited. Eze went for 70 mill, Wharton has had interest from Real Madrid, Guehi was going for 40 mill with one year left on his deal to Liverpool. Mateta could be sold for a substantial fee, ditto Sarr and Munoz.
Moyes inherited a squad with Pickford and Branthwaite its only real assets. He’s then had to spend a window getting in some quality to even get remotely close to what Palace had.
So yeah the base they were building from is completely different. Glasner inherited Olise and Eze on the flanks, Moyes had Harrison McNeil and Lindstrom once Ndiaye was crocked.

It wont work, in fact it will probably annoy you even more as they will always have multiple responses.Only for a couple of days though - as he's everywhere!
Don’t help him ffs…Do you realize at this stage , Aston Villa is fourth in the standings and they're only 3 points above us? So we're not just drifting in lower table purgatory at the moment. Acquire some awareness it might avert moments where you launch into outlandish tirades
