Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Wow, £50m for four goal involvements (all competitions last season) from a winger! Anybody willing to pay that clearly has money to burn. I think we should probably prioritise other targets over a loan move for Grealish.

Hopefully not, because there is no way City will cover 75% of his salary and I don't think it'll go down well in our squad if we are paying him £150,000 grand a week when our proven top players are on nowhere near that.

Can’t see anyone paying £50 mill mate, he’s also on 300k a week, no one in the league will bite at that.

Digne is leaving Villa I’m told mate.
Swerve. Clearly better than what we currently have, but too old and there are surely dozens of players like him available who could offer similar. Would be a terrible sign of our new regime if we went after ex-players who are deemed not good enough for the teams we sold them to, teams that are supposedly our rivals.

Was saying something similar yesterday mate, doing a real like this is problematic with our wage structure,

He’s on big wedge as well mate, which is why I think Villa are looking to move him on.
