Premier League relegation: Nine teams in danger of dropping to the Championship

Weird how they have Crystal Palace with a 10% chance of getting relegated when they literally haven't won a game all year, are second-bottom of the form table and have just appointed a 75 year-old has-been who took a club down last season. They brush it off as 'they've got relegation-threatened teams to play'. That's probably a lot more dangerous, as that's a lot of six pointers and you could quickly find yourself sinking. They currently look terminal.

Everton have won 3 games in the same period including against Arsenal, and got a very notable draw away to Chelsea. We're only one point behind Palace and have played the same number of games. We've also got better form than every other team in this article bar Southampton.
agreed. the table is bollocks

We currently average 1.21 points per game at HOME, whilst only gaining 0.64 per game AWAY.

With that in mind, based on our final 10 games (5 home, 5 away), we'll pick up 6 points at HOME and 3 AWAY. That would have us finishing the season on 35 points.

Something has to change. All teams below us (except Southampton) have games in hand - we need to win probably 2 away from home cause we won't win more than maybe 2-3 at home.
Things have started to change though. We are starting to gain points now. Any the season average doesn't reflect the short term improvement.

1.375 PPG in the 8 games under Dyche though so there has been a big improvement, especially when Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal x2 make up half of those fixtures.

No room for any complacency of course but maintaining that rate to the end of the season is a comfortable 40pts.

The picture might be a bit clearer by the time we play on Monday. With 6 of the 9 playing each other something has to give, also Leeds aren't getting anything away to Arsenal which should help.

We need a draw at least, but the best thing about getting 3 points if it happens is that it takes the pressure off having to get anything away to Utd the following week.

Ignore the naysayers. We will get to safety regardless of what they say if we carry on as we have done under Dyche.

A similar article 2 or 3 games ago and we'd have been 2nd favourite even the favourite to go down.

We need 3 wins and and a couple of draws and this can be put to bed.

We're about to go into a period of 6 pointers where - despite the way it looks now - it's going to be nigh on impossible for some clubs below us to get to 30 points.

Beating Spurs would be utterly HUGE.

I think a few of our ladies team might get a game on Monday. Bare bones.
Don't have that many injuries to players who usually start though do you? Lloris and Royal only, but Porro is first choice right back now. You can still play Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Hodjberg, Romero.

Actually, you can send 9 of the 11 that started vs Saints, minus Richi and Davies.

I think we've had many periods of actual bare bones! Kenny at left back springs to mind.

Still think it will still go down to last match of season like 2004/05, think Everton will be safe by then though, Southampton, Forest, Bournemouth, Palace and Leeds maybe the 5 to decide it
If Palace beat Leicester on Saturday - which I expect them to - Leicester could get into serious difficulty.

They'd have 6 home games left, but it's at home that they've been terrible all season; and the games they have on the road are tough ones: Villa, Fulham, Newcastle plus Leeds.

In the next few weeks it's worth bearing in mind also that there'll be clubs panicking and getting shut of managers. Rodgers will be right up there as a possible casualty. But any team now changing manager are making a massive decision. If it goes wrong there's no way of making it up later on.

At least we have a settled man in the job who knows what our situation is and is underlining he can handle it.

Yes just looking at Leicester's fixtures, you could well be right

I haven’t checked but I have a vague memory Leicester have played at Villa Park already??

Sounds about right to me - it sounds do-able particularly if we beat Tottenham
