James Bree from Luton would be a brilliant acquisition for us. Experienced talented right back. Need to get in there before he goes to Southampton on the cheap.
I agree.
Pascal Camembert would do well at left back too.
Perhaps that Sampdoria striker Gorgonzola as Calvert Lewins backup, mind you he's stunk the gaff out the last few games. Spurs were interested but put Daniel Levy right off

If it's not this year it's next. It's been on the cards for while.. Nice stadium though
We had our chance last year.

We then sold our best player - yes, because financially we had to - and didn't replace the most crucial aspect to any team staying up, which was an ability to score/create goals. We lacked that last season, yet managed to make it worse.

And we're now halfway through January and are not close at all to any signings despite knowing what was needed for over four months.

No we didn't we got €87 for lukaku.
We got £75M + £15M add ons...which I didn't completely add in for obvious reasons, but some of it would have been triggered having played two seasons for United.

Even if we said Lukaku went for just €90M (fee plus just £5M in add ons) we also got

£4m Niasse, £5M Oviedo, £9M Cleverley, £10M Deulofeu, £8M Funes-Mori, £3M McCarthy, £4.5M Lennon, £500K McGeady.

= €50M

Which is total fees in of €140M....plus whatever we got for undisclosed fees from Eto'o and Rodriguez, and Holgate's sale in the coming season or so.

In the end we'll see about a €15M-€20M net profit on Matinez's dealing.

Tell us more ?

You would never have had zaha then? He’s always been at a crap club
Townsend played 100 games for spurs

Crap logic
He played 50 games in the league and got 3 goals maybe a good reason why spurs wanted rid, as they realised With players Townsend you ain’t competing near the top.

Spurs sold him for 12mil palace wanted 70 for Zaha

Is he Bree mature enough?

I Camembert this dithering in the transfer market

He's actually a brilliant player. Perfect age and would be relatively cheap as he's out of contract at the end of the season. He'll almost certainly go to Southampton but we could create a bit of tension at least.
