I've just done the math and we spent €130m under martinez and we made €120m.

Thats a €10m loss and the vast majority of that income was on one player we originally didn't want.

The lad isn't ponderous at all. He's direct, can shoot from distance and get chalk on his boots and cross it. He was our best winger by some distance last year. Had a very good attitude about him alwasy wanted to go forward.

Main issue was his pace, he was average speed for the Premier leauge and after doing his acl I imagine he's going to of lost a yard off that.

Still be faster then mcneil though.

Several big issues were addressed in the summer , baring one glaringly obvious department .
Relying on Dominic Calvert-Lewin's fitness was disasterous , and hence the lack of real firepower up front.
Unfortunately this will stay the same until its addressed.

They did and they showed it that day, but it took another manager to get it out of them on a consistent basis. This is why the buck always stops at the managers door.
