Nothing concrete just a gut feeling, thought it was weird we had strong interest in Chukwueze and then ended up with interest in this lid, struck me a bit of going for Cornet and coming back with McNeill and also why Villareal seem keen to loose him - i know the perceived logic is they need the sponds - but i dont buy that wholly there are a whole list of options to manage that. Seems to me they have a very low threshold to loose him - for whatever reason.
Considering the lad's allegedly got an ego on him, seems like a strange step backwards to leave Bournemouth, star in the Champions League then go straight back back to them. Almost an admission of defeat. I know we're not a great prospect at the moment, but Bournemouth at their ceiling are only ever relegation strugglers.

There's definitely suggestions he's a bit of a bad apple hence West Ham withdrew their interest, but Bournemouth will know all about him and it doesn't seem to have put them off.
I saw that mate in the summer when i was reading about the lid and Moyes is no mug, strikes me as odd that Villareal are so open to him going, maybe has a touch of the Dele Allis about it.
Just speculating really, but all that i posted struck me as odd, when a potential link emerged.
It's also quite surprising given his success at Villareal last season Emery & Villa also seem to be leaving Bournemouth to it. Maybe Bournemouth in their predicament just think it's a risk worth taking.
