Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone. Despite all that wine yesterday I still have a clear recollection of how stinkingly bad Everton were. Anyway Im not going to go there with my thoughts on those brave boys in blue
Hope you are all well today and not suffering too much of a hangover.
Back to the gym today and then the afternoon in the charity shop.
Whatever you are doing I hope that you enjoy yourselves

Good morning from Travelodge Aigburth. We had a lovely day yesterday I'll gloss over the match but the ten Evertonians present were not happy. The one Toon Army fan was trying to be kind and not gloating. The assorted others ( West Ham, Middlesbrough and not interested) were doing their best to be nice to their Evertonian loved ones.
Dad is looking well, brother and his wife from Australia also look great but were absolutely knackered after their flight. My great niece came along. She is so cute - two next month.
Heading home later today. Mr F back at work tomorrow. I'm not in until 5vJan but have told my boss I'll log in on Friday for an hour because I have a couple of things that could be end of the month closures if I haven't had any response from the people concerned.

Have a good day guys x

If it's open, there's a steak house restaurant opposite, which is surprisingly very good. Slow service, but the food is lovely and for a very competitive price.
Saw that last night. It was open but we'd ate so much during the day we didn't need feeding! It looked busy. Will keep it in mind for future visits. Have you been to the Greek one that used to be the Gulshan?

Yes, I've been to Christakis a few times. The food is good and again reasonably priced, however the drinks are pretty expensive - it's where they make their money.

5-Fifty Bistro (formerly Paul's Place and now named as it's 550 Aigubrth Road) is also very nice, but it's small and their opening hours are ad hoc at best.

Morning all … well I didn’t not often talk football in here but the last 2 minutes against wolves has to be mentioned …
Pressure on and a goal needed and we are mincing the ball sideways about in the centre circle … cowardly sideways passing and not a leader to be seen … I knew right then what would happen

Get Seamus on the field … he may be slowing but until a real leader is appointed to replace him then we need him
Enough of that .
So my family left today I am left with a big quiet void that will take a bit of filling …. But i watched the traitors on BBC and that certainly livened up a few hours
Ive got a flamenco painting in comission to finish so im on that today oh and there’s two guitars in the workshop to get working on …. So one more episode of traitors and then I’ll start …. Ha ha
Best wishes mascoteers have fun in the “spooky between days “ before NYE

Morning all especially the early bird that is @fandjango .I hope all others slept well and have a fine day today . We watched nearly all of "spy among friends" it was just what I needed an afternoon nap ,I found it just like watching grass grow ,the daft thing is I will watch the last episode -to see what happens -if I don't drop off.
It is funny how things affect your life ,my stepdad used to fall asleep evry night watching the TV and I hate to do it with a vegeance ,f you changed the channel he woke and made us put it back and it has made such an emotion inside me .
Have a great day all COYB

Morning @blue1948 yep there are times I wake early … though we’re an hour ahead of uk … these days I don’t fight it … audio book on and sort of snooze or listen to books for the last couple of hours then up and at it at 6 ish
Never was a late sleeper I guess 25 years soldiering fixed that routine

Good brekky memories from many a travelodge anje glad you’re having fun x

Morning all on this grey and miserable morning. Had a good Christmas Day, chaos and excitement followed by a quiet Boxing Day spent with my brother, I say quiet it was until the end of the match when my brother and Mr G. who had spent the game quietly fuming, exploded. Detectorists special on BBC didn’t disappoint, perfect antidote to the frustration that is EFC. Good to hear that your Dad is well @anjelikaferrett . Have a good day, all.?
