Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this dull day here in Hyvinkää .Not much going on ,we have just finished the cured salmon and will hopefully( so it is out of the way ) finish the ham later .We had a small piece but enough is enough .Tomorrow onwards it is salads for a while for a change in ingredients if nothing else .I hope all had a good night and have a great day today COYB.

Morning everyone.
Leisurely day today. Thought I might go back to the gym but decided to postpone that until tomorrow.
So, as we are spending a few hours tomorrow reorganizing the Animal charity shop I thought I'd go through my wardrobe and drawers today and donate and clothes that I haven't worn in 12 months so that alone should mean that the shop gets more suits than Moss Bros.
That to a backdrop of listening to Everton should eat up at least a couple of hours. Desperately needed 3 points today please Frank.
Curry today and bubble and squeak from Christmas Day leftovers tomorrow.
Anyway have a great day whatever you've got planned.

I'm good Jazz. Feeling surprisingly sober given the amount of alcohol I've got through. Just watching 90s music on the beeb, but think I may put Boat that Rocks on. Nice feelgood movie with great 60s/70s soundtrack.
Brilliant film. Reminds me so much of Radio City in the early days! Especially the guy who got all the girls and never said anything ?
I do think Richard Curtis is a genius.

Good morning all. Setting off for Liverpool in about an hour or so. Very much looking forward to seeing everybody. My brother arrives from Australia at lunch time. Other brother is going to pick him up from Manchester Airport. My son and his gf are also heading to Liverpool from Nottingham. She gets to meet everybody which will be nice.
We had a lovely day yesterday. Very chilled and relaxed. Ate loads - very traditional turkey and ham dinner. Me Mr F and daughter drank a decent amount a, played daft games and it was great. We probably won't see daughter's bf. He has a six year old son who lives in Leeds with his Mum. He's picking his son up today and having him for a week. So lots of Dad and son time.

Have an enjoyable day everybody x

Merry Christmas you beautiful people. Got the keys to my new crib back in Liverpool a couple of days ago (L16 shout out!). Been extremely lucky in that I’ve kept the pre Truss budget rates, unfortunately many others haven’t been as lucky, next doors offer fell through due to it.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day with your nearest and dearest.

Love, Tommy.
Wishing you every happiness in your new home.?

Have a great time!

Really enjoyed watching Boat that Rocks again. Now going to get a fix of Siouxsie. Wednesday has given me a bit of a craving for classic Goth. Watching a live show from 2009 and she's still looking good. 40 years on.
Watched a Tina Turner live show from 14years ago last night, not a massive fan but then realised she was 68 at the time.
She roked the place and never stopped dancing for 2 hours and was in the middle of a massive tour.
To put it in perspective I'm now 62 and strain to put my socks on in the morning.?

Just woke up and sorry I did. I graduated from Siouxsie to live YouTube videos of the Cure and Human League before retiring to bed at 2am. I do like a challenge Brett.

After 14 hours of continuous alcohol consumption I apparently had enough good sense to dispense with the need for a third malt whiskey. Enough good sense to switch the bedside lamp off and charge my phone, but strangely enough not to remove my reading glasses which were amazingly still attached to my head when I woke a few moments ago. I think I must have slept in the prone position all night.

Anyway, a pot of strong coffee and a chocolate pastry beckons whilst I decide what to do today. I have Prime so could watch the game, or at just watch the racing. The one thing I definitely won't be doing is going to the pub.

Have a good boxing day everyone.

Yeah. I felt exactly the same watching Siouxsie who must have been in her mid to late 50s at the time. Amazing energy. The girls from The Human League still looked great too. So did Phil to be fair, albeit minus his hair.?
