Merry Christmas to all of the wonderful folks on this thread!! Here is to Karl...for being such a lovely man who came into our lives and made them better!!

No cold weather here, so I'm happy. I've been on my own the past few days, but my son and his father will be arriving from California shortly. For dinner, we'll be having prime rib, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, garlic asparagus, and maybe mac n' cheese. Along with some sourdough bread to soak up the rest. lol

I may or may not bake holiday desserts later...could be brownies and some chocolate candy.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday!

Mrs J having a well earned bath. Listening to the 2nd side of Snow Goose ....heaven. Which reminds me of the time me and Mrs J saw Camel in Southport Theatre in 1983 /4 can't remember exactly when. Went to the bar to get a drink to find Bruce Grobbelaar chatting up Mrs J. He was huge compared with me , well most people are. So I just looked at him he had a woman he had in tow , and said " have you got no shame" ...seemed to do the trick as he f.....d off.

A friend of mine was given 2 Peter Kay tickets for a May performance for Xmas pressie. I offered him a tenner for the 2. Strangely he turned me down. Some mate
